I had been waking up very early for the last few days. I decided that it was because Missy's heat was kicking on in the night. I was waking up hot. So I left my bedroom window open last night and woke up at 3:30, a much more reasonable time for me.
I have read Sister's blogs and I am having my first cup of coffee. I have my contacts in, teeth brushed, and a shower taken and I am dressed. I am going to take Benjamin lunch today at school. I am going to walk down there. He is wanting Spaghetti.
Here is a picture of the lemons I swiped the other day. Yesterday when I went back to the park with Missy's camera I found a better tree with limbs hanging over the fence and it had bigger lemons. So today I have 4 more lemons that are bigger.
In the above picture you can see how VVL is conserving. They water and over seed the areas next to the streets to keep it pretty and green. Then the rest of the park area they let go dormant, except right up by the kids playground and it is green there also. Don't get me wrong I think this is a very nice thing to do but in better times it was all kept green.
I thought this looked like someone was very careful to over seed in such a straight line. This grass will stay bright green all winter. That's Arizona.
It's Friday. Missy is getting a vegetable basket tomorrow. I think this weekend Benjamin and I will do some Christmas baking for the teachers and Bill's work people. Benjamin and I will make cookies and Bob-Bons, he will love dipping them in the melted chocolate. We need to go to the store and pick up a few things. I will be needing coffee...Some store has spiral cut Hormel hams for about a buck 17 a pound. I think I will get one of those for Christmas Breakfast or dinner. Which ever one we are having this year.
I have not seen Bill or his kids in a while. Austin has a Birthday on the 15th and Michael's is tomorrow. Ingrid's is today....
