Missy's Outside

This is the little off spring I gave to Missy from my Mimosa tree from my old back yard. When it starts to get cooler I will be sure and cover it so the frost does not kill it. I figure by next year it will be surely big enough to make it through the winters here. Not many birds come to eat from my feeder. Val Vista Lakes is the land of plenty for birds. It seems they can find food anywhere because there are blooming plants here all year long. As soon as some plants die the yard guys are planting more.

Missy has 2 rose bushes in her yard. I think these started out as a small indoor plant. Her house has been here since the 80's and I'll bet who ever planted them thought they would never live. I have met the lady who originally lived in this house when it was first built. She misses the house and still lives somewhere close by. She walks by the house sometimes. She told me she sold it in about 2000 for 210.000. The guy who bought it used it as a rental. The last people who lived here were dopers and the investor let it go back. Missy got a good deal on this house and it is a perfect place for her and Benjamin.
Missy also has a Boginvia in her back yard. These are those Thorny plants that never die. We had them at our house on Washington street in 95. I hated when we had to trim them and the red blooms blew in the pool all of the time. Next spring I will try to fertilize her plants and see if I can make them look a little better. This one should be full of red blooms.

When I moved in Missy has these very nice cabinets installed in the garage. All of that stuff across the top is Christmas decorations. Missy is not much for decorating anything but she does love Christmas Decorations. I do not know why.We throw a breaker in this house often. It is from where Maytag installed her Microwave over the stove when we moved in. Bill has a friend that finally called me yesterday and he is coming this week to take a look at it and see how he needs to fix it so it will not throw the breaker all of the time. We are also going to have him check out and see what he can do to set her up something so she can run Christmas lights without throwing everything all of the time. last year after she put out all of the decorations she then had to leave them off or she threw breakers left and right.

You can see my car in the garage. We can just fit both of our cars in the garage. We both have to be very careful pulling in and out of the garage and sometimes if Missy's car is parked inside and I am going somewhere in mine I have to climb in like the 'Dukes of Hazard boys.' Benjamin thinks that is great.

I don't like decorating but I like seeing what others do.
