Let me be the first today...

I beat Patsy posting today mainly because she is reading books she bought yesterday. I'll bet she has not even fed her hens yet this morning. I imagine it is cold there and she does not want to get out.

I seem to be feeling a little better the past few days. I am sure it will continue.

I think I will get on Craigs list today and see if I can find some free wood. Benjamin and I would like a little fire outside at nights, maybe roast him a marshmallow.

I made bread yesterday and it turned out really good. I make buns often but almost never loaves of bread so it was different.

That pumpkin pie is still in the frig. I am afraid it will have to go by the way side..

I thought I had a Mugga scan today but it is next week. I had it written down as next week but I had it in my head as this week. Good thing I called and checked yesterday. You know I too kind of have that Mama thing....no matter how much proof I have if it is in my head as fact it is just stuck..

Am so glad Cheryl got a blog again. I just know in a few months she will be feeling great and poor Tim will just be old and tired...

I think I will try to get out my machine and sew a little. I may set it up on the back porch. It is supposed to be 80 today..

AZ did pass the medical Marijuana law. Patsy said I may be real proud of that before all of this is over...Something else happened in the news here that made me so mad I was chewing nails and spitting tacks but I all ready forgot what it was.

Oh Yes...now I remember...another poor dog story...Well right here in a town on my door step there lives a vet that came back from Afghanistan...unharmed, just served his duty...Seems while over there he and a bunch of buddies took to feeding a bunch of stray mutt dogs...aren't there people starving over there....beside the point....

well one day a suicide boomer was coming into town and these pack of stray adopted dogs the soldiers had been feeding attacked the boomer...I figure they were hungry and were going to kill and eat the man or he may of had some food on him besides the bomb...just my little add in....

anyway the dogs attacked and killed the boomer and 1 lone dog survived so this AZ soldier got to bring the dog home with him when he came home....The soldiers even got together and gave this dog a medal...I am sure the dog would of rather had a bone, but also just a little add in for me...Anyway a tragedy happened, the dog escaped from the soldiers back yard...no tag, no chip and the pound picked him up....the dog, mutt, was euthanized a few days early by mistake from a humane society worker...The soldier is so distraught, he has lost his best friend that saved his life, they were showing the mans 4 year old son crying telling that he wanted God to send the dog home and take the poison out of him....wonder if I was wrong all of those years when I told the kids the rabbit, dog, cat, hamster ect, ran off to a happy place to live a free and carefree life....Just another side thought....
well the humane society worker is on leave without pay,and they are saying she will probably get fired.

One less stray dog running the streets making pups which is probably why he ran away in the first place...Also just as a thought there was a short news flash that 3 brothers died at the lake here yesterday...maybe a 30 second clip but the dog story was on every channel as a lead story...God help us all....
