which is good. All is very calm...That is a nice change...
Every other Saturday Benjamin goes to his Daddy's and spends the night. Missy picks him up at 8:30 Sunday. So this morning we drove out to Queen Creek and got the boy. There sure isn't much going on here when he is not here.
I have been napping during the day almost every day for a week now. This is very strange for me. I never sleep during the day unless I am sick. I don't feel sick but this is strange for me.
Missy cleaned house last night and I instructed her on how to do it and then I instructed her on where to hang about a dozen pictures of the boy. They look really n ice where we hung them in groupings around the house. They have always been hung kind of like Daddy used to hang all of the pictures in the living room. Missy is not much for decorating. Frankly she could care less.
I have made chicken and mushroom gravy, Yukon gold mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, fresh salad, and home made rolls for supper. It is all ready but Missy has been sleeping all afternoon.
I hooked up an old pair of rabbit ears antenna to my TV in my bedroom and Benjamin has been in there watching educational TV cartoons all afternoon. The rabbit ears have made my room very popular. You know Missy thinks TV is the root of all evil with kids. good thing she is asleep. But you can't get much with these rabbit ears but PBS comes in clear.
Benjamin goes back to school tomorrow. I think I need some sort of project. I think I will start sewing scrap quilt squares. You know on squares of paper like Patsy showed me how to do. I made Amanda a quilt like that. That will give me something to do.
The boy is getting hungry I guess we will have an early supper.
Duane Sanders has been pretty bad. Within the last two weeks they have taken off his toe and a little of his foot....then they had to take it off at the ankle....Now Monday they are going to have to take it off at the knee because he has a bad blood infection plus his main heart valve is leaking badly so they are not able to put him to sleep for this so they are going to use a spinal block and a turnaike (SP). It just makes me sick to think about it and certainly reminds me of Aunt Francis...

glad you are resting good.really i like it when nothing is going on. sammy found blood spots on the porch and a lack of kittens they have got to where they just lay on the porch all the time. sammy ask me if i knew what happen to the kittens? i sayed no!
he called the neighbor and told him something had killed all of the kittens on our porch. this was results of seeing some blood spots god only know what he would have told if he had saw something besides spots.some have big mouths and little brains.
Glad you are resting and finding things to fill your days.
