Kenzie is starting 6th grade this year and for the 1st time ever I did not get to take her back to school shopping. It was a sad day for me. So Kris sent me these pictures and I can see I really missed out because as you can tell Miss Amanda enjoyed it a great deal. She is a real ham. So it would have been double fun this year. Kenzie has that flat foot trouble and it looks like Kris found her 2 pair of very good shoes. I am so glad of that. They went to Ross and found these items. They still have some more to do and I guess today she will take Michael to do his. It is not as much fun with Michael. He does not care, he just needs clothes.. Buying for 5 kids is a lot. Kaylan's Aunt Jeanie is getting all of her clothes for school while she is visiting them this summer. Missy chipped in a pretty penny for the other 3 and I sent some too so I am sure they will all be properly outfitted for school. I would think just buying school lunches for all of them could send you to the poor house. 5 is a lot of kids and 4 will be in school this year...BTW they will all be in different schools. The schools are all close together but they are all divided. Each of these grades are housed at a different school K-2,nd 3-5th, 6-9th, 9-12th, and it just happens Kris has one in each grade section. Kaylin and Kenzie will ride the same but but Michael and Amanda are on different buses. It makes me want to cry thinking about little Amanda getting on a bus all by herself. It is only about 2 miles and I think if Kris is not working she should drive them. especially Mike and Amanda.

I love school shopping. After mom took the girls, Eric and I took them to branson to finish the few things they still needed. I will have to post pics. Can't wait to see you.
Ingrid will be on the bus with Siggie...just over to my school, but still I am glad the big girl is there. In a week Siggie will be fine. Of course, I will wait outside the school for her everyday for a while. Eric has a class and can not get there. I might have a class but just go anyway. No, this year I dont' have a class last period. Last year I did and I told them...oh, we need to go to the bus area and make sure the little kids make it off ok. I took all 28 kids with me. told them they had bus duty.
thanks for the book tip for Astrid.
I sure hope you are doing well...
