when Beans Garrison came home for a furlough she wore a totex the entire time. She surely loved Luckey. If he had have lived...I think she would have lived longer too.
Well, should have said Kotex. That is what she called it. I went and stayed with her and Lucky at the lake house in 1969. I had the most fun. She tried to do lots of stuff so I would be entertained. It was the first time I had ever skied and with Luckey's coaching I did it the first time.
the thing that I think of when I think of aunt Helen is how she had everything a person could want but never had children and in the end her life wasn't worth living and she killed her self. I think it was because everything she had turned to ashes in the end.
Wow, that is impressive. I loved Harry Truman.
Such a truly sad ending however.
