Today my Sister Betty turns 60...She is 4 years older than I am.
I remember when I was in 2nd grade I came home and told Betty that no one would ever play with me at recess. I think back then we had 3 recesses each day.
So the next day Betty and 2 of her friends (they were all big 6th graders) came over to my side of the playground, where all of the little kids played. Betty had told her friends no one played with me and they all felt sorry for me and came over to play with me...
The problem was I had lied about it all and when they got over there they found me playing with a bunch of other kids. I remember I told Betty that it was just this one time they ever played with me....
Oh what a tangled web we weave....

60 sure sounds old. I always had lots of friends. Now I really don't have any...just you guys and my kids. Well, Jonell is still a good friend to me. She sent me a bday card...I got it today.
