Last Oct. I talked my Daughter Kristina into sending my oldest and most special 1st grand child to live with me and attend school at VVL...It was a gift that was straight from her heart to her Mama...I am so grateful to everyone that made this possible for me.
I prayed, Lord please just let me have these few months to be reasonable well. Let me be able to care for Mackenzie, Give her my devoted attention and not get sick while she is here so she has to feel like she is taking care of me.
Ask and ye shall receive. It is almost time to take her home. Only the last 5 days have I felt a little tired.
This is the one thing I wanted and God gave it to me. What a Generous, Glorious God.
I think Mackenzie will go home with memories she will never forget. I have tried to talk to her every day about right and wrong, good and bad. And I never fail to tell her how very special she is, how proud I am of her, and what a great life she is going to have. And how much God loves her.
She has said more than once. 'Granny, this is the best school year I will ever have.' I quickly correct her and tell her she is so young and she will have MANY special years. I always tell her, "Now when you look back on this year do not think this has been MY best year ever....But think ' this has been Granny's best year she will ever have her whole life, and I made that possible."
If I die next week I have had a good life!

My constant prayers have been with you this year and those prayers have been answered. Now...what is the next exciting goal?
Winnie is right -- there has to be a next goal -- your life is far from over! We gotta go to CA, and I still plan to get you on a cruise.
