I love to go to the ocean in San Diego. The beaches are pretty clean. I think it is great Kristina and her family only live 10 minutes from the ocean. If I lived there I would want to take a book and a chair and just sit and let the kids run. I think it is a lot colder in WA than it is in San Diego... I may just do that every day while I am in WA.
Kenzie had 4 more days of school. Then in two weeks I will be taking her home. I dread it. She doubled her reading goal this 9 weeks so she made 70 bucks from Missy and me. After she made her goal I stopped making her read every day so the last points she did willingly. Not that the others were a struggle to get her to read. I really did not make her read I just limited her time for TV and the computer. What else is there to do...So we read. But it is all down hill from here. I do not know what we will do the next two weeks before she has to go home. I wish I could think of something great but we may just go to the VVL beach every day.
My back has been giving me fits so I think next week I am going down to the clinic and check on getting that therapy Dr. Wolf mentioned. As she said, 'Let's try to medicate our way out of this.' I think I have given that a good try. I have been taking at least one Daravset every day since I saw her and some days I take two as she prescribed. I think that is a lot of pain pills for me. My stomach ulcer has been acting up something awful and it may be because of the pain pills. I now only take 2 ulcer pills, a blood pressure pill, and that pain pill every day.
I still have the herceptin every 3 weeks but I remember at one time, when I was so sick I was taking over 100 pills a week. I still would like to cut out that pain pill. Every time I go to take the Herceptin and see all of the patients there I know how lucky I am that I am not sick all of the time and can get around.
Although I did have to rent a wheel chair that last day at Sea World. I just could not walk another park. I walked Lego Land for two days and did not sleep well so I was done in that last day. But at least I did not lay down on a bench and have someone think I was dead like they did at Disney Land two years ago. That day I think someone was ready to poke me with a stick because they thought I was dead. Thank goodness I woke up about that time.
It's the weekend and my house is pretty clean. I think we are to reach about 100 degrees today so we may just go to the beach. I wish I had a good book, but I do not. There are over a thousand in the garage and maybe there might be one fit to read but I doubt it. Benjamin goes to his Daddy's today but will be back tomorrow at 8:30. Missy is planning on taking the two kids to a movie. Shriek 3 came out yesterday.
