A little of this -n- that: Staying True...

I picked up Jenny Sanford's book, Staying True', at the library yesterday...It took me 2 hours to read it...It would take my Sisters a lot less time...Below is a picture of Stanford the day he made a fool of himself in front of the National TV cameras...Before this day I had never heard of Mark Sanford... I had not missed much...It was the most awful confession I had ever seen a Public figure make...It ranks right up there with, 'I did not have sexual relations with that woman,' and 'I am not a thief,'.....It is forever burned in my mind, 'She is my sole mate'...

Well when Patsy and I watched his pitiful confession we both thought, 'something is wrong with that man.'...Well there is. He is stingy...His wife called him 'frugal' in the book but the is just plain stingy...He has thought so much about money he has warped his brain...

When he was a Congressman he lived in his office instead of renting an apartment...Sleeping on the cot...For his wife's Birthday (she is from the Skill saw fortune) in the late 80's when they had been married less than a year, he made her a home made card and drew a picture of half a bicycle inside the card. For Christmas he made her another card and drew the other half...About 3 moths late he bought her a $25.00 used bicycle...His gifts were always of this standard...Once though in the 2000's he gave her a diamond necklace, but he took it back and returned it...He decided it cost too much..He is sick!
