32 and 2

We have 2 birthdays today....Missy turns 32 today and Lexi turns 2 today...

We celebrated Missy's birthday last night. I took Benjamin to the dollar store to get her a gift...He made a haul. They had plastic tennis rackets, golf clubs, and baseball bats for the WII...Mama needed 2 of each. He also got her a plastic battan with glitter in it because 'she will really like it!' 2 artificial silk roses that will 'trick her because she will think she needs to put in water.' She got a pinwheel that Benjamin just did not know where he wanted to stick it in the ground , in his front yard or back yard, 'so she can see the pretty colors'....and 2 big plastic hair clips she 'really needs' because 'she does not have any that big!'..And sure enough Mother loved it all..

Benjamin has a pancake breakfast this morning at his little Christian Pre School and then they are having a 'Trike-A-Thon.' I intend to go this morning. If I go I will need to bring him home with me when I leave. Benjamin has 85 bucks in his envelope for Saint Judes Children, He had done the 'Trike-A-Thon' for 3 years and he knows if they would let him take his bike to school he would be 'Really fast' and could make more rounds than anyone else. They ask for you to donate so much a lap but we always just give a flat fee,,,,Last year he made more than anyone else in his class.

Then Lexie was born 2 years ago today. I was not in the best shape then. I had my surgery 2 days later. By the time I saw her I was all bandaged and sitting on the couch...Lexi is having a big blow out at her house this weekend.
