By Thursday we had to have a Martha Washington costume. So today since I was not getting any ideas from my Sisters I went to Goodwill and bought 2 dresses the same color. There was a lot of fabric in dresses back then. I came home and Kenzie and I whipped up this dress. She is pleased and I am glad it was so fast.
Missy came over this morning and took Benjamin and Austin to her house and then took Austin to a Birthday party. After that Benjamin and Missy went to the big M for lunch. Benjamin was not pleased with his Granny.
Missy could not wait to come over and fill me in. Their conversation went like this.
Benjamin: Mommy, Granny yelled at Me, Austin and Mackenzie the whole time I was over there. She talked so mean!
Mommy: Benjamin, were you not listening to Granny?
Benjamin: I have to listen to you, Daddy, and God. I can not listen to God when Granny is yelling! And Granny does bad things. Granny gave us ice cream when we had not eaten our food yet.
Melissa asked him if he wanted her to speak to me about being so mean. He said he would talk to me about it. I guess I am not so mean he did not think he could tell me what was what. He asked me about it and I said I was sorry for yelling. But you know as he has already told me saying I'm sorry does no good, it does not change a thing.

Dress looks beautiful and the granddaughter looks lovely, you did a good job Grandma.
You need to dye her hair brown. Martha did not have red hair.
