here and normally I would be drinking a pot of coffee...But not today. Today I go in to have by breast implants put in...
The Doctor filled me out 5 prescriptions...an antibiotic, something for throwing up, Valium to relax the mussels, vicoden for pain, ...That pain pill is very strong for me and I detest taking it but may need it the first day or even two days but I like Darvocet much better...it never makes me sick and it does not give me bad dreams or knock me out....So he filled me out one for Darvocet also..
Well, yesterday at 1:30 I went to CVS to get them filled, where I have had at least 100 prescriptions filled before. The pharmacists did not like that I was getting 2 pain pills....She said she would have to call the Doctor to check...Which pissed me off considering in OCT last year I filled the VERY same prescriptions by the same Doctor right there. They called and said they got the answering machine, which is always the case. He does not have phones ring in his office, It is distracting from that ZEN quality his office provides. But they always call me right back...The pharmacists said he may not even call back today...She suggested I not wait...
Anyway, I was going to wait for the pills because I did not feel up to coming back. Dr Jacobson has surgery all day Thursday so he was probably elbow deep in some new double D's but I called right after the pharmacists and left a message for him or his staff to please call this CVS number because I was waiting for the prescription..Within a minute they had a call..
They filled the prescriptions but I was still pissed, as I have been for at least a week. I am not sure why. So before I paid I asked to speak to the pharmacists. I explained I had stage 4 cancer and I often fill a lot of drugs. Sometimes very harsh ones and I am sure in the future more harder drugs are to come. I asked her if there was any way she could note this on my account so I would not have this problem again. She said, "No, when they have a prescription from a doctor that they do not believe is a real Doctor they always call.' I told her I am sure she did not mean to say the words that came out of her mouth implying that Doctor Jacobson who had made the Top Doc's List in the US since 1998, was not a real Doctor. I told her I figured the problem was more of a profiling problem because I was sure she could tell by my SKINNY physique I was a hard core doper and I would not set foot in that store again....AND I WILL NOT!
Now Melissa has to find me another pharmacy!

So sorry you had such a hassle and hope you found someone to help. I'm sure it did nothing for your anxiety levels.
I guess drugists are like airport security. We know we are not terroists or addicts, but they don't. Definitely not fun but thanks to a few a**holes, we are forced to live by the rules to protect us.

Too many pills can be a bad thing. I think you need a pharmacy that will watch over you.
So sorry you had all of this the day before you need more surgery. The day you should have been relaxing and staying calm. I would contact the CVS headquarters.

a lady at work at this same procedure with the expanders and all. she is very pleased. i don't think she had too much pain after the implants were put in. just some soreness. just be careful with lifting and pulling. let kenzie take care of you. take it EASY. Love you.
