Mackenzie has been in Girl Scouts for 3 years I think...It may be 4. Anyway selling cookies can be pretty scary for a little Girl Scout..
Please be nice to all of them, even if you don't buy any cookies...When we went door to door everyone was nice to her. I was right there behind her.
At the last troop meeting I had to go in for the last 30 minutes of the meeting because they had to explain about selling cookies. During that time the leader was explaining how we had just lost our meeting snack mom. I think she moved. About 2 minutes into her speech of what we could do I raised my hand and said, "If you are trying to get around to , we need a new snack person, I'm your gal." Even though I was rude they gladly excepted me. Mackenzie said earlier in the meeting the leader was telling the girls they had lost the snack mom and they might not be able to have snacks at the meeting. Mackenzie told the leader, 'My Granny will do snacks, that is our kind of job." I'm not sure what she meant by that, Granny likes to cook, or Granny likes to snack, but we have big plans for snacks at the next meeting.
I am up early again this morning. I have a Doctors appointment, I have to get Kenzie to school, I need to clean house, and Mackenzie has Tumbling at 6:30 this evening.
She always tries to be so sweet. We cleaned out the Jacuzzi yesterday, so she got to take a dunk in it last night. She loved it.

I'm impressed. Usually "snack Moms" have to be shamed into service. Nice volunteer there.
