Kimmie went to a job interview. She asked me to watch the kids....I gave Lexi a little hair cut.....It's not in our eyes anymore....Look at that sweet face....

Here's a story.. I wanted to trim Mackenzie's Bangs for the first time when she was a little over a year old...
You know how kids hair is at that age... the top, bangs, were in her eyes but she had very little hair elsewhere...
Kris would not let me trim it...I was baby sitting Mackenzie and I told Kris it was going to be trimed, I do it, you do it, or take her somewhere and get them trimed...Kris wanted to do it herself...
I said OK here's how you need to do it....wet the hair and comb it down in front. Then gather up all of the hair and pull it to the middle of her face between her eye brows, right above her nose...Hold those little ends together and just snip off the ends even with the bottom of her eye brows...That way when you comb them out it will be a little shorter in the middle and have a nice curve, longer on the sides'...
Good, we had a plan...
When Mackenzie came back over the next day her bangs were about a half inch long on one side and an inch long on the other side....And very crooked...It made Grandma Powell's bang cuts look like a pro...
I did not say anything about it for a few days...AFTER ALL IT WAS NOW OUT OF HER EYES AND NOT BOTHERING MACKENZIE....BUT AFTER ABOUT 3 DAYS I HAD TO ASK KRIS, "WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR PLAN?"
Then she brought the pictures over of her cutting Mackenzie's hair...I wish I had the picture...
Kris had all of the top combed down straight and she had a pair of scissors the size daddy used to use on the Horses mane's when he cut them ....
She was holding these big ole scissors at a pretty good angle , upward...Thus explaining the one side shorter than the other...Everyone was smiling...
I think after that I cut the babies hair...Oh I wish Kris would post that picture....
