Sunday I blogged that after a day of shopping my feet hurt so bad. I figured it was because I wore heels and had not worn them in ages.
I have always been a sort of shoe horse. I used to own a hundred pair of shoes easily. But since I quit working at AT&T I had not bought many shoes. Then when I got sick (almost 3 years ago) and I was falling down and running into walls I bought an assortment of Crocks. That is all I wore for 2 years...I gave all of my shoes worth anything to Kris at the time. We both have always wore a 7 1/2. Since then I have given others to other people, donated some and so forth. I have ended up with a nice pair of Black 'Born' clog type, one pair of RED 'Ked' stretch Tennis shoe, and a brown pair of 'Naturalize' Loafer type. These are the only shoes I had besides Crocks that did not hurt my feet...
So for about three months now I have been reading about these 'Shape Up' Sketchers...Today I went to Kohl's and bought a pair. They feel really good on my feet. I knew Sketchers run a little small so I picked up a size 8...They were a little tight. Then I picked up an 8 1/2 and they felt better so I tried on a 9 and bingo I had a winner!
Maybe my feet hurt not because those shoes were heels but because they were size 7 1/2!
