Well I have Just Had It!!!!

For the last week I have been really worried about my health insurance...Since we found out Arnolds, is taking all of H&E employees on as 'New Hires' I was afraid they would not start insurance for 90 days... My regular monthly bills that the insurance company pay out on me is over 5K and that is more every 3 and 6 months when I have a scan, or once in a while when I black out and run to the emergency room thinking I have broken my jaw....Not having insurance even for a month is not an option for me because if it ever laps I will never get another insurance company to pick me back up...

Well. Good ole Rhea sent me the Internet web site about Cobra and I did find out I could for sure get that even if his insurance did not pick up for 90 days or more...Now Cobra has always been pretty expensive. You know each week you pay insurance out of your check and your employer pays more than you do for you. With Cobra, often you have to pay the full 100% yourself, plus 2% handling fee. So this would have put my insurance just under 1K a month. But in Sept 08 Obama put some of that stimulus money to work in health care ( God bless his old heart!) and signed a law that from 9/1/08 to 12/31/09 anyone needing Cobra insurance would only have to pay 35% of those costs....Mine would have been $300.00 a month for the same coverage we now have...That is less than we now pay or will pay on Mike's new plan...

Obama is beating the streets trying to talk up Socialized health care...you know like we have socialized education, and we have Medicare, and we have Medicaid....These programs have done nothing but help people and especially young poor people and old poor sick people...Now we have people in congress stating really stupid things about Obama in wanting to kill off old people. Saying things that are just "out there, "and nuts! These ideas are coming from nowhere except from their science fiction minds... These kinds of people need to just shut up because I imagine his bill will contain some sort of help for the mentally ill and there seem to be many politicians that are spouting craziness and could use some mental health....To these people spouting craziness I say..."Obama could make mental health care affordable even to you, so you need to stop bad mouthing him until you can get your medication..."


I have Cavalcant and Herception today and a PET scan tomorrow..
