New Company..
H & E equipments, fork lift division, just got bought out by Arnold Equipment...Mike has worked for H & E for a number of years. It is hard to remember how many maybe 5 or 6 before that it was ACM before that I do not remember but 27 years ago when he started with this company it was owned by Empire right here in Mesa. Empire was a small home owned company that handled all CAT Equipment. One of the Brothers went through a divorce and he had to sell off the fork lift division to pay off the X-wife. I am still sad he does not work right here for Empire.
Since Empire, the companies have just gotten Bigger and Bigger this does usually mean more money for Mike but less personal business. When they have one of these buy outs they usually keep all of the good mechanics and only get rid of some management people. Since Mike has his 'own' customers I imagine his job is secure. I sure hope so. I hate to see them sold again and I do not even know why, I never liked H&E the main office was somewhere back east and the AZ dealership had very little pull in the company. Arnolds bought all of the equipment, dealership and trucks. I am glad they bought the service trucks because I think Arnolds used vans for service mechanics...Goodness, Mike would need a van and a trailer to carry all of his tools and crap... I hope they have good insurance....
I go to the Doctor today. I have a sinus infection from my fall. I need some antibiotics. I think I will go to the library today as soon as they open, 10:00 AM. It is all ready hot here this morning. I have not even stuck my nose outside but the air has been running a lot this morning.
I stayed at Missy's all day yesterday. Benjamin is such a good boy we just played on the computer, played cards, cooked a little and watched movies. He loves westerns where they have guns. He picked out the movie City Slickers 2 because he thought from the cow boy picture on the front it would have guns in it. When I told him it did not we chose another one. We can watch most of the old John Wayne Westerns because the language was mild. He repeats everything he hears. He loves seeing the cattle, horses and guns...He's all boy.
Oh my, it is hot today and this is only the middle of July. We have 2 more months of heat here....

I hope Mike and the new company go well together.
I remember when Benjamin...you said was a pill to handle...just look what a little love can do. Benjamin is now a little angel.
I know he can't wait to go to Wash. to see his friends.
