Yesterday I cleaned out the spa. Mike had not been in it in a month. He said it made fungus on his foot....imagine that!....Could be because he soaked in in for 5 or 6 hours a day, never cleaned it, and never ran the cleaning system.....and it had been months since I had cleaned it because I was never able to get in it after he 'soaked'...So yesterday he said he was not going to use it anymore...I drained it...green and all.....ran the system, washed it all down, filled it, drained it again, added chemicals.......left the heat off and Benjamin had a nice cool place to play....I am now draining it again...It will be even cleaner tomorrow...Could not believe a person would climb into 104 degree water for months and months just sitting there like a BIG germ pile and not know this was nasty......but to each his own....
The best thing about Granny's spa is you can just get out and go wee-wee in the yard and not have to go to a club house bathroom...

If I were rich I would change the sheets everyday.
The spa would be better with cool water..I would think.
That Benjamin is a joy.
It is cool Granny has the heat off and it is now ran full of fresh cold water again....ready for play in a few minutes
If I was rich, I would hire someone to do all the housework unless I did not want to, and if I did not want to hire someone I would just not have anything clean. I change the sheets once every 2 years even if they do not need it.
I would not have a hot tub or a pool that needed to be cleaned. I would buy TNT and blow it up before I messed with it.
