It is hard to even remember...

I watched a documentary last night about Walter Cronkite. They showed many short clips of his news casts. It made me think about Chet Huntley, David Brinkley, and Walter Cronkite and how the news used to be produced...Back when the news was news and not a dog and pony show like we have today...Look at the difference between them and news casters of today... I watch a lot of news and I had really forgotten what a good news caster really was because we do not have any worth their salt today..Cronkite, Brinkley, and Huntley are truly a dying breed of news casters....It is sad... "Good night David, good Night Chet...and good night for NBC news..." "And that`s the way it is."

I always feel like the news is a 'show' not news.

I love those hens and chickens flowers. Grandma Gaddy really could grow them. I get them and they die.

Just want to say...love you.

I wonder if people today would watch "real" news. There is so much competition that the dog and pony have been brought out to lure in viewers. Also, slant to the right or left seems to be more important than accuracy.
