Reading....wasting time

I went to the Library last week and took back about 6 books I had read and about 30 I had read to Benjamin...Since Benjamin was not with me I looked for by Books first. I found about a dozen books for me and my arms were so full poor Benjamin only got two books. So I have spent the last 3 days reading. I picked up 2 romance novels by Lavyrle Spencer. These were old books and I had read they years ago but I had forgotten most of the story. Lavyrle Spencer is the only romance writer I like to read and she only wrote about a dozen books. I think it is a few more than that but less than twenty so there was not a lot to read by her , and I have read them all. She stopped writing seven or eight years ago. Just stopped. Maybe Nora Roberts should think about quality not quantity...Fat chance..

I picked up a Ron White book but most of that book was just his jokes, more than his life so I skimmed the jokes...which I all ready knew and read the few pages about him. That did not take long at all...

I picked up Truman's book about 'Letters to Bess,' I read that book years ago but it was interesting all over again. He was really good to his wife and even that Mother-In - Law....

I read 'The Legs are the last to Go,' by Dianna Carrol...Remember her in Julia...Well, she is almost 80 now. I did enjoy that book... Her life has been full but even she thinks it was a little shallow...Only in her late 60's did she stop waiting for that last 'Big Roll' that would make her a star...

I have the book about the Presidents wives to read. I think I will read it today....Tomorrow and Tuesday Benjamin will be here so no reading then. I have to entertain..

The house needs to be cleaned. Maybe Benjamin will help me clean...I can make cleaning entertaining...
