Scratch

I just got back from the dermatologist office. You know I still have those hives….for almost five months now. The Doctor asked me how they were and I told her they were just the same but I am more comfortable. The last time I went to see her I was concerned about taking too many pills. Each pill is 25 mg and the bottle says 1 every 6-8 hours as needed. At that time I was taking 3 a day. Well, she made a big mistake and told me I could take up to 300 mg a day and it would not hurt me. Since then I have been taking a pill every 2-3 hours as needed. I was concerned about this and told Dr Cavalcant how much I was taking. He was unconcerned and basically said, ‘If you are itching Helen, take more.’ The Doctor today had pretty much the same attitude today it was ‘Let’s get you stronger pills and more of them.’ So I trotted off to the pharmacy today with 3 prescriptions stronger and more pills. You would think pretty soon they would just knock me out and I would not itch. I guess we will see.

The great debate is tonight. Let’s just hope Obama holds his own. If he does it is all over for McCain but the cryin’. I wonder if Palin will be there tonight. Or as Betty White says the ‘Crazy Bitch.” If you have not watched Betty White’s interview on the late night talk show you should. Even at 83 she is a hoot. I guess when you are 83 you can say whatever you want.

It is another cool morning here in AZ but it is going to warm up later. I am going to pick up my prescriptions and go to the library before it gets hot.
