Last night I was standing under this Momossa tree and a Hummingbird was buzzing around the flowers on the tree. I was standing very still and he flew within a foot of my face. Look at my 2 trees so close together.
The yard has BIG dry cracks in it so I am watering the yard this morning. Not a very efficent way to water but it will work.
Here is a picture of A wild plant that grows in my yard...I am not sure what it is but below is a picture of the blooms. I am sure Pat knows what it is...The blooms close up when it gets hot in the day.

Looks like some kind of flower that we call a morning glory, we started ours up the old cherry tree last year and it looked really pretty.
Our cherry tree blew over last Sunday from that strong wind that came through Ohio from Ike.
It reminds me of morning glory too. But I would think it is too hot there for it.
