Monday

Good Morning All!
Melissa and I went shopping this weekend. Well, she went more than I did but I did go a few places with her. Saturday morning we went to this discount place called Beal’s. Melissa found these purses for $24.95 but they were discounted 95% so she paid like $1.25 for them. The problem is when we got back to her house in Queen Creek they had the steal stopper devices still on them. So I am taking them back today to have them removed….And oh yes in case you want to steal anything that must be the store to do it in because apparently their door alarm does not go off when you walk through it with the devices still on your merchandise. Just FYI!

I wanted to go back to Beal’s this morning anyway because today old ladies, 50 and older, get an additional 15% off. Plus I have a card to get 20% off. Ever since I made Benjamin’s blanket I have been looking for another one of those plush blankets to use on the back of my quilts. Wal-Mart had stopped selling them and I could not find them anywhere. Well Beal’s has some in stock and they are Queen Size. I was going to buy them Saturday but Missy said I need to wait till this morning so I can get another 15% off. I am going to buy at least 4 and I think they were $29. each. I’m sure Missy was right but if they are all sold I will be very upset.

The material setting on the arm of the chair is for a quilt for Michael. That material has been setting there for weeks. I was going to use a flannel sheet for the backing and I was not thrilled with it so I was discouraged from making it. Now with a new fleece brown blanket I will be inspired….at least I hope I will be!

Why didn't the alarm go off when she left with the purses? I do not understand.

I wish I could find some of those bolts of fabric that are about 8 inches to a foot wide. It's on a cardboard roll. and you can rip it for rag rugs. I used to find them here but have not seen them anway in about 7 or 8 years...if I had some I would make some cotton rugs. I have old sheets but it takes so long to connect them that it is too hard to get one made.

Look for me... sister 3

I would give 50 cents for one of those bags, but would not want more than one laying around. I am sure they would be in my way, just like mama said. And they are so ugly I would not want to be seen carrying one. I always am very style concious when I go out. Looks like you had a good time.
