It is hard to believe but I am feeling good today!
It has been11 days since my last chemo. I have been very sick.
The day after my chemo I broke out in huge whelps again. They lasted 5 days.
Also my blood pressure went sky high! I am not sure how high but Friday, Saturday, and Sunday when I tried to leave the bed I would get dizzy and almost pass out and had to lay back down fast.
Tuesday I was able to drive to a Doctors office. That day my blood pressure was 160 over 107. I was feeling better that day and I could tell it was much lower than it had been. I was still a little dizzy but not feeling like I was going to pass out.
Thursday I was still dizzy and Missy took me to see my GP Doctor. That day my blood pressure was 150 over 97. They put me on a short term emergency blood pressure medicine and it is working. I do not feel dizzy anymore.
I go back to the Doctors office at noon today and we will see how the BP is today…
But in the meantime since I am feeling good, I had better get the house cleaned up some. I have been so sick I have not been able to do much. Two weeks ago Wednesday, before I had chemo on Friday, I cleaned house a little. Before that it had been 4 weeks since I had done almost anything. It was so bad the week Mike was on vacation he ran the dishwasher. He had to ask me how to start it but he ran it. This was the first time in 36 years of marriage he had ran a dishwasher.
He told me Saturday that all I did was lay around and go to doctors. I told him he was correct and it was a lot of fun! I wish he could have all of my fun and I would go to work…

Hope you continue to feel better. Hope you can get the house cleaned up...I will let my go.
Well I am glad to hear that you are feeling better... Also Miss Helen if there is any time that you need help with cleaning or getting things done and are not feeling good just let me know... I can take ella to her grandmas and bring over my little red head and help out with cleaning and what not.. He is a wonderful helper, I promise. He always does his chores each and every day..
hat is so nice of you Bettina and you are right I have never seen a kid that can clean like my curley red headed Grand boy....I know my sisters think I am just saying this but it is true...That boy can clean up a whole room full of toys in less than a minute and has been able to do that since he was 4. And I know where that came from and it was not his father's side of the family...
So glad you are feeling better. About the husband, so many of them seem to be that way, sounds like he needs to take some classes on dealing with a wife who has been through hell and back.
Yes, we woman love going to doctors. LOL But isn't it strange, when they get a head cold, they act like they are dying and think we should spend every minute waiting on them hand and foot, even if we might also have one at the same time. I suppose that's why we woman live longer then men. By damn we want a few years of piece and quiet. LOL
Hang in there girl, you've already been through so much, it's got to start being easier soon.
And the house, I say, if you can't afford to have someone come in and sweep and dust, don't worry about it, it will be there when you are ready to get rid of it, I know, been there myself. LOL
Anymore if anyone says anything to me about the dust, I tell them where the dust rag and dust mop is at, and go at it. Funny, after a few times of that no one says anything. LOL
I'm glad to hear you're feeling good today. I hope the feeling stays for a while!
