A trip to the ER
I got a bad rash last week I believe from painting with latex paint. I went to the doctor on Tuesday and he put me on steroids and Benadryl 4 times a day. I have not been feeling good since Thursday but on Friday I really was having some bad spells. I was dizzy, almost passing out, and confused. I just could not figure out what was wrong. So I went back to the doctor today and my blood pressure was 173 over 142. They sent me straight over to the ER. I am sure it was drug induced high blood pressure. I had forgotten but whenever I took even one or two days of an antihistamine for sinus or anything like that it would make my pressure a little high and it has done that for years. I had been taking 8 pills a day of Benadryl for a week now no wonder I was so bad. Anyway they kept me at the ER for a few hours and it dropped to 143 over 90 and they let me come home. I have stopped all pills I will just have to itch. I go back to the Doctor tomorrow. I am feeling better.

I figured you were painting...you don't need to be painting.
Sounds to me like you shouldn't be painting, at least not at this time. You also said it's been really hot, so that's another reason you should leave the painting for someone else right now.
Take it easy for a few days, I can't imagine not falling asleep taking that many Benadryl a day.
Take care of yourself, because honey, you'll learn over the years, if you don't take care of yourself, no one else is going to. Hang in there.
