AHHH MAN...

The weather is so nice again today....sunny and about 56.... I looked at Fleets pics of the house and snow and I am glad I am not there sticking  my nose up to the one window in the house you can see out of... Thinking....I wish it was warm so I could do something outside...


Today was laundry day again for me....Saturday there was not even a load of laundry in the house....Today there were 7....But it is all done now....Plus I hauled the metal off and dumped it ...for free..There were 4 big ole steel rims in there that George would have liked to sell....At least  that was what I was thinking as I unloaded it..


Kenzie is having some kids over after school to do a school project. She  said they would do it outside...i think I will get her a little fire going in the pit right before she gets home. I imagine they all will like it...I wish I could think of a great snack to make for them..


Kris sat out 2 pork tenderloins for supper. They have dry rub on them so I think I will wrap them in foil and cook them in the oven. Normally I cut them and fry it but since this was packaged in dry rub I am not going to do that this time.


Last night I took the kids down to the athletic center and let them swim.... Amanda and Jake can not swim. They are both very afraid of water.... But Amanda did put her face into the water and with only 1 stop swam across the pool.. several times...She was so proud of herself...Plus she jumped in off the side 3 times...Last night after she had been asleep for about 30 minutes I heard her say...."I am in the water.."   I guess she was dreaming about swimming...Oh yes, and she said it was just 'The best day ever!'....Amanda has a lot of those days..


Heard Fleta went to work today but the kids did not have school. I guess JR went to work also.


Kris is working today at Amanda and Jake's school. So she will bring them home with her.


AAAAHHHH Cinnamon rolls would have been a great snack. Wish I had thought of it earlier....Maybe I will make them anyway..
Glad to see Fleta has walked  way into MO...Winnie Jo, maybe she will stop and see you..

A Beautiful day...

It is sunny here today and I have been working outside...The yard work never ends up here. This morning I had Kenzie and Mike help  me outside for about an hour...Maybe less...and we did not work very hard...

kenzie had a Birthday party thje day I arrived...It was a 60's party... here are some of the friends...The boy beside her is her boyfriend. He seems like a good kid....his pants are pulled up...LOL...That is a big thing for me...LOL

 Here is the tree that fell...I have burned all of the limbs in 2 days....and even raked up the small stuff..

Tomorrow everyone will be back at work and the kids in school..

I loved Fleta's pictures and I am anxious to walk to Grandpa Powell's old place....Like Patsy has told me about so many times..
Fleta is walking today in the snow....Or since George and the Kids are home sick...she told them she is walking and she is sitting at my house reading.. I tried to call her ..twice....she was still walking...I should have asked George if she took a book on this walk...

I'm Alive...

and doing well...


I made it to WA Saturday  evening and I have been very busy since...


I work on laundry and cleaning...plus do some yard work...Kris has been working every day so her house work and laundry was way behind.But this morning I had everything caught up and after I got the 2 little ones on the bus I went to work out in my room. As Mac said Kris had thrown ever thing out here she did not want in the house. But I got it all situated around. I got a new toilet seat installed...Hung a new clean shower curtain...installed a shower rod on the back wall of the shower and hung baskets...mesh...to put toiletries in...Got a TP holder installed and some organizing items for the wall...It is done out here now...


Tomorrow I am going to begin burning again plus make chicken and noodles.


Mackenzie got her drivers license....She drives pretty well. That first wreak is going to be a shocker...and ya know all kids have one.  Well Maybe Betty's girls never did.


I went to Church last Sunday...and low and behold...I miss the Little Coin Church....Really just the preacher...I did not ever realize how little most preachers really quote the Bible..It was shocking to me when I noticed that. Plus Betty....I think I do like the old Church songs best.


I do not know what the temp has been here....I am not cold. But I do need a jacket when I am outside...Heard my house may be really cold tonight. Thank you sis for taking care of it. I hope it is not to much trouble.


Kenzie has base Ball practice tonight and Kris is going to the gym and exercise. me and the little ones will camp out here. I will give them their baths and we will watch a little TV.Amanda and Kenzie sleep out here with me. We have a queen bed...plus a sofa that folds flat. Amanda sleeps on that...A futon is what I was trying to say. The queen bed has a really nice mattress that Darrel bought for me 2 years ago.. So I sleep very well.


Amanda just came out and so I guess it is time to start our evening...A great day..

Dollar DAZE......

Yes that's what it is. Nothing like going to GoodWill on Thursday in AZ and get 28 pairs of jeans for $28.00.  I got Kenzie several pair of jeans. I think 4 pair were Angles. Her favorite. One pair did look warn. But it was only 1 pair out of all of them that I picked up.  Jeans look like as they do new. I found Fleta a few jeans. One pair was Banana Republic that Good Will was selling for $20. I was never to in to Banana Republic but they must be costly. I found several Old Navy for Kris and Melissa. I have at least 1 pair of 'Seven" brand. I did not find any Luckys today. I did pick up some NYNY. Now get this. I was looking for Fleta, Kenzie, Kris, and Melissa.... In sizes 8-3.....Fleta wears the biggest. LOL


I am either going to have to ship a box to Kris or pay for a bag on the airlines. I will have to have Missy figure out which is best. Kris will pay either way but Missy has several things for Jake. Clothes that were to little for Robert, One size 8 winter coat that costs more new than it will to ship the entire package. I will need to ship Fleta's also but it is not nearly as large of package.


Austin spent the night last night. Benjamin and he had a blast. I was so glad I got to see him.


Benjamin is home with me today. I made cinnamon rolls this morning for Austin. He begs for them every time I get him.


I am having a garage sale tomorrow. I need to be getting things ready. I am feeling lazy..

Hump Day...For Fleta....

Soooo..
Yesterday was Benjamin's Birthday. He had the best day. Mom gave him her IPhone 4....She is not hooking it up on a calling plan. but it uses WIFI so he can play games and get music. He thinks it is great. Missy bought it last year and as soon as she hooked it up she realized she could not surf and talk at the same time she bought herself a 6 and put this one aside....Which was the first day she owned it. She offered it to me but you can not hook an apple product up like I do mine to use it to tether to the net. So I did not want it. Benjamin loves it!


Missy took yesterday off and we ran around and had a pizza party for Benjamin's class. We had 10 pizza's and juice boxes and cupcakes. It was a BIG hit. We then had a family party at the house. I made him a vanilla cake decorated wit Angry Birds and strawberries to go with it. It was what he wanted.


I am having a garage sale Friday to sell Missy's old clothes...She has tons of them ranging in sizes. I will also have it Sat AM since my plane does not leave till evening. I hope I get rid of most of them. There are so many and clothes do not always go over so well. We will see.


Today I have 2 errands to run and I pick Benjamin up from school at 2 ...Then we are going out to Queen Creek and pick Austin up. He gets to spend the night. Austin has to be back to school at 9 Thursday morning. I have Missy's car today and tomorrow. I am keeping Benjamin home with me tomorrow.


Kenzie is getting ready for her 16th Birthday party with her friends Sat night. I wish I could have been up there to help her get ready for it. She and Kris called me last night and Kenzie was having a 'melt down' all of her plans were not coming together. She was trying to find something to wear. It is a 50's party. Kris took a few pictures and texted to me of different dresses Kenzie was trying on to find something that looked 50's.. Kenzie's face was just pitiful in all of them. She was so sad. Hopefully it will get better.


It is sunny and warm here.....Feel sorry for Sisters....
