My Calendar....
After I go to the doctor today Missy and I will be taking the calendar to get printed...When you get yours you will notice Janet's picture is on the month of January....That is because Janet Poor has a birthday in January....But as it turns out Janet is Tony's wife....Our Janet has a birthday later....This is the only picture I put on the wrong page and that is not my fault....First of all why she was named Barbara Janet and called Janet was just wrong and second, Fleta did not type on the calendar, 'Helen, this is Tony's wife,' So I refuse to take any blame for having our Janet's picture on the month of January. There are other people's pictures on the months that have nothing to do with that month, but I was not confused....I just stuck them on the page...Cause I wanted to!
Today is a holiday and Kenzie and I will be home today. Mike is supposed to work. but it is 7 AM and he is still in bed. I am afraid he thinks he is taking a holiday today also....That just ruins mine.
We have a chance of rain all of this week. We will see if it actually does rain. It probably will not.
Bill stopped by this morning and picked up the 2 big boxes of stuff I am sending to Kris. Bill tossed the box with Mom's clock in it on top of other things in the truck bed. It was about head high. He did strap it down but it still made me nervous. He was only going to the shop and pick up an enclosed trailer from there. So on the trip to Oregon it should be safe if it made it the 6 miles to his shop from here. If not, he will have to deal with his Sister's wrath. Not my problem. Kris will deal with him. If he busts Mom's clock he'd better just not go on up and see her.
Today is Grandma Powell's Birthday. I still wonder how she formed those crocheted chickens she made. I used to love to go to her house and look at all of her home made stuff. I still remember walking up to the table she kept some of that stuff sitting on. It was chin high to me, at the time, and I would suck on some of her crocheted things that were stiffened with sugar water. You know she must have known I was doing that but she never let on that she knew I did it. Probably after I left she had to wash and re stiffen some of those chickens and cups and saucers. Goodness, that bear tacked on the doors always scared me. When we spent the night we had to sleep in that room with the bear.
I get an email called Dave's Garden. Today there was stuff on there about chicken water freezing. I looked at it all because I was thinking of Patsy having to try to keep water to those chickens when it was so cold. All of the heated waters had to plug into electric. They did not look very safe to me. So I did not order one.

Shared food....
I took a plate of food to Missy and Benjamin. Kenzie and I had to run by the Library because she had a book on hold. The Big Library is about a stones throw from Missy's house. Her and Benjamin could easily walk there. Kenzie made a chocolate cake and we took a piece of that to Benjamin. He loves cake and sweet things but his Mama certainly limits it.
We are home now and Kenzie is reading her new book. I am so glad she loves to read even if it is about Vampires! She likes Science Fiction because here Mom and Dad like it. I will let her read those books but we certainly are not watching it on TV.
I have 2 large boxes of stuff packed for Bill to take to Kris. I expect him to drop by the house soon.

I made Lasagna roll ups and a nice salad for lunch today. The rolls are garlic croissants out of a can....Kenzie like the rolls...I liked the salad and Mike like the Lasagna roll ups...Something for everyone...

You know that mess with Mark McGuire just ticks me off. He denied using steroids for years. He stated he thought he would have hit just as many home runs without taking the drugs because being able to hit the ball was a God given gift and Steroids did not help that....Just perhaps, the steroids did give him more strength to hit it further, thus a 'Home Run.'
Have any of you been keeping up on the Tempe AZ woman that has killed, lost, or gave away her 18 month old baby girl. They have her in jail for over 2 weeks now and she is not talking much. 0 There is a couple that she was going to give her to them. They are persons of interest but they have been very open with the police and have been speaking to the media. I do not think they got their hands on her.
I can not even wrap my brain around the Haiti mess. I have been watching some news casts by Anderson Cooper. He is the son of Gloria Laura Vanderbilt . Not that that is important but I always think of that when I see him. Anyway I do like him.
I am up early again today but I still do not feel very productive, I doubt if I move any mountains today. Maybe I will feed the birds at least..
I did get up and wash a few refrigerator dishes because I dumped some refrigerator food this morning. I also emptied the dish washer. I might make strawberry crapes for the Girl this morning. Right now I am just drinking coffee and piddling on the Net....
I go to the Doctor again tomorrow. Missy does not have to work but Mike does. Of course there is no school so we have a 3 day weekend.
