I can't believe...
that a year and a week from tomorrow if Mom was still alive she would be 90 years old. When I printed the calendar it just seemed unreal that she would have been that old.
It has been a lazy day around here. We have not been very productive. The Girl and I have done a few small things today but not much. She is in the shower right now.
Bill is leaving Monday for Oregon. They have a 6 week job up there to get done and he is going to go to see Kris next weekend. I have packed 3 boxes of stuff to send to Kris since he is driving up there and has a lot of room. Most of it is Kenzie's stuff we will need to get back up there by summer.
I am going to pack up the oak clock Mom bought for me from JC Penny's in 1989. It was right after I had the house fire. It is a 30 day wind up chiming clock and I promised it to Kris. This is probably the only time I will have a chance to get it to her and not have to ship it or take it on a plane. It has hung in the same spot in this house for 12 years. I am not one to move stuff on the walls. It will look beautiful hanging over her fire place.

Friday....
Today is school colors day at school....At least it is a pretty color.
The birds are in my back yard in full force this morning. I tossed out some bread and apparently the Doves love it.
Benjamin will be staying the night with us. I bought seeds and potting soil to fill the pots out front and plant some seeds. I am not sure they will grow but the kids will like doing it.
I noticed when I was coming home from taking Kenzie to school, the neighbor a few houses down from me is having a garage sale. Maybe I should take a walk over there. It looked like clean stuff. Some people really have neat garage sales and some people just throw the stuff out there. I have not had a garage sale in years but I was not one who cleaned up things to garage sale. I just priced it really cheap. I said if I was going to all of the trouble to clean it I would then keep it. My other theory is you should only go to garage sales in nicer neighborhoods than you live in, so I doubt if she would have anything I would want.
The Girl scouts are going to Flagstaff to play in the snow on 1/30/. There are a few really responsible parents willing to drive them. Kenzie is excited about going. Next weekend there is a teen Mother Daughter thing we are going to. It is all day. There will be 2 Disney singing stars there. I think their names are Johnnie and Brooke. Kenzie saw them perform at her old school and when we got the flyer she wanted to go so I said I would take her. At least it is just here in Mesa.
This weekend we have nothing going on so I thought about inviting a friend of Kenzie's over to spend all day Saturday with us....But then I came to my senses...
Missy said she would take my calendar to Kinkos on Saturday to copy it and get it all put together. It is not as nice as the one Fleta made but she is a computer whiz and I just had to scrap book it.

The Girl ...
Rained Last Night....
It was nice to get up this morning and see that it had rained last night. Mackenzie said she heard it thunder and saw the lightning....Not me, I was sound asleep. It smells nice this morning...
The birds are eating and I need to refill the feeders. Here are some pictures of my Doves. They usually feed off the ground but I noticed one perched on the feeder. These were all taken from inside the house...
Kenzie had Tumbling tonight so we will have a full day.

The best part about making a calendar is you just get to put pictures of whoever in the heck you want to put on it.....
