Thursday...

I called Kris and the gallon glass jar of pickled stuff made it there just fine....Darrel is all ready eating it....Kenzie was watching a movie...She did not get much TV time at my house while she was here.

I am at Missy's waiting for her french doors to be delivered from Home Depo, sometime between 9-11...I have made a whole pot of coffee, I hope they do not get here before I get it all drank. I do not have a travel cup with me...she has dirty dishes but I am only going into the kitchen to fill my coffee cup so I am not temped to fill the dishwasher...Actually, I would not mind filling it but it probably needs to be emptied first and I am not doing that...

Her doors will be installed Sat morning...I am excited. Her handle fell off her sliding glass door AGAIN last night....I looked and it is back on....she probably did it with a butter knife...

Well it is going to be a boring day at my house...No Grand Kids at all...Tomorrow Benjamin has his little Christmas play at his school and I will go to that and bring him home afterward. So tomorrow will be lively...

Missy has been loosing weight hand over fist...I will have to get a picture....She was out of clothes that fit and she bought a bunch of new work clothes last weekend from Ross...They are all size 8 and 10...She eats very little. That is hard for me to do. I am sure I would feel better if I took off 50 pounds.....or more...That reminds me I wonder what she has in her frig to eat....probably lettuce...

Update

The Girl made it home fine...I have not spoke to her Mama this Morning yet...We sent a gallon jar of Hot pickled cauliflower to her Daddy...it was wrapped good and placed between clothes in the suitcase...I hope it did not break...I will see....We have sent it back this way before...Darrel can not buy it out there...

from Marvin...amd I did chuckle....

It is near the Christmas break of the school year.
The students have turned in all their work and there is really nothing more to do.
All the children are restless and the teacher decides to have an early dismissal. Teacher: "Whoever answers the questions I ask, first andcorrectly canleave early today.
"Little Johnny says to himself "Good, I want to get outta here.
I'm smart and will answer the question."Teacher: "Who said 'Four Score and Seven Years Ago'?"Before Johnny can open his mouth, Susie says, "Abraham Lincoln."Teacher: "That's right Susie, you can go home."
Johnny is mad that Susie answered the question first. Teacher: "Who said 'I Have a Dream'?"Before Johnny can open his mouth, Mary says, "Martin LutherKing."Teacher: "That's right Mary, you can go."
Johnny is even madder than before. Teacher: "Who said 'Ask not, what your country can do for you'?"Before Johnny can open his mouth, Nancy says, "John F. Kennedy."Teacher: "That's right Nancy, you may also leave."
Johnny is boiling mad that he has not been able to answer to any of the questions. When the teacher turns her back Johnny says, "I wish these bitches would keep their mouths shut!"The teacher turns around: "NOW WHO SAID THAT?"Johnny: "TIGER WOODS. CAN I GO NOW?"

The Girl Goes Home...

Mackenzie will be getting on a plane today to fly home for three weeks. I am excited because she will be going to the home they just bought and hopefully will get to live in a long time.

Mackenzie has to go to school today. She has one final test to take. I will pick her up at school at 11:50, that is when she starts noon recess and we will go straight to the airport. We should have plenty of time. After we get all checked in we will be having lunch.

She is ready but not overly excited. I hope she will be ready to come back after three weeks. The day after she gets back, Jan. 5th school starts back up the next day. She is only missing a day and a half of school here.

It will be almost 70 here when she flies out and when she arrives, at 5:00 WA time it will be raining but 51 degrees....so no worry of ice or snow.... We will pray for as good of weather on the return trip...
