Helath Care....

It looks more and more to me that we are just going to get a watered down Health Care plan. The public option is met with so much opposition I can not believe it. When Senator Kennedy was alive he pieced mealed many of his bills taking what little he could to help the poor. I guess I need to look at it like that...Something is better than nothing...


Poor Sarah Palin just can't seem to catch a break or get a paying gig. Her last paying appearance was out of the country and it was reported many people walked out before her speech was finished....Hard to believe isn't it..

Katie Couric was on a show the other day and people in the audience was asking her questions…I thought, I wonder if anyone will ask her about the Palin interview and they did. Katie was very gracious about it and did not call her dumb one time… But she could hardly keep from laughing...

The Senate Finance Committee voted to restore $50 million in federal funding for Abstinence-only-Education. Obama sought to eliminate this funding. Abstinence is good in theory but apparently hormones are stronger...You know we have been trying this for years and it does not seem to be working...Educators could use 50 million but maybe it should be spent on something else...

Toyota has issued its largest recall ever. Apparently the floor mats on several models are not hooked down and are wadding up under the break peddle and causing accidents. I had a car one time that did that but I can not remember which one it was. It never was a big problem for me I just kept straightening the floor mats. I guess some people do not do that.

It looks like we are finally withdrawing some troops out of Iraq....Four thousand in Oct. All I can say is it's about time. Our troops have been shipping out since Obama was elected and I was thinking they should be shipping home...We will still have about 120,000 troops 'over there'...

I often end my sentences with several dots... I do this partly because I never really learned how to type and my grammar is often not correct...Today I read that three dots at the end of a sentence represents a trailing thought....Most of mine are....

It just makes me so mad....

If I was in Obama's shoes I just don't know what I would do...
I think I would have that big ole 'WHITE HOUSE' painted BLACK....and post a big sign in the front yard..."H.N.I.C."  Just in case there was anyone wondering who was in charge...and then I would do as Patsy said and slip any press notes out through a crack in the door, for the remainder of my 3 and a half year stay..!

Facebook...

Facebook has became the 3rd largest viewed page on the net...Today Democratic Underground reported someone on Facebook put up a poll asking should Obama be killed...You could check yes, no, only of he changes my health care..

I could not believe this...Just another expression of racism...At least the FBI pulled this page and they are investigating it...Below is a chart showing the size of Facebook...This is alarming to me that such a thing was allowed to be posted...

Monday...

I'm so proud this boy at 4 and a half learned to ride a bike...He wanted to learn so badly...

I'm thankful today is Monday because I can go pick up my sleeping pills...all 14 of them I have been having a heck of a time sleeping. I just feel like crap. I'm sure I woke up at least 20 times last night.
