I got all of the mess cleaned up...Benjamin's cake is one side chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and raspberry sauce in between the layers....The other half is one of those confetti cakes with vanilla frosting with raspberry sauce mixed in..So I figure if we scrape off ALL of that outside green stuff it will taste pretty good.Greg came in tonight for the weekend. He lucked out. Benjamin got to have a friend sleep over and they took over the living room to play games and sleep down here...So Greg is in Benjamin's bed on the good mattress that Melissa bought for me 2 years ago...It will spoil him. He will be coning Benjamin to sleep in the living room every night...and here is the part he will like best...Right now I am doing Laundry...at 1AM... and I have 2 more loads to do before I go to bed...Plus when I wake up at 0 dark 30...and come down to make coffee and rattle around the kitchen with the lights on he will be snug in the dark in Benjamin's room... AHHH life is good.
I have everything ready for the party tomorrow...Everything we need to take is all out and ready to go. I just have to pick up an order of balloons at the dollar store at 12 right before the party. Benjamin has had a very big day today and tomorrow will be better. Then Sunday is his real birthday...That is when he will open our gifts...But not another cake...he thinks this is his best birthday ever!

Greg is SOOOOOO excited about the party today.
You've been one busy lady. Did you get any sleep? Cake looks great, Benjamin should like it. Have fun this week end and try to enjoy everything going on. Myself, I'm sure I would be dozing off some place. LOL
Benjamin is old enough to remember his cake when he is an old man and remember is Granny who baked it and loved him sooooo much! Making memories is what Granny needs to do.
