Cooking

We did a lot of cooking while I was up there. Some things are in the picture but we also made truffles, pies, chicken and noodles, and canned gallons of jelly. The day I made chicken and noodles Amanda, the ham, came walking up the stairs. The chicken was almost done and with every step on the stairs I heard Amanda say, 'ummmmmh, ummmmmh.' When she made her way to the kitchen she asked, 'What smells so good?" I told her I was making chicken and noodles and she wanted to know if that was what we were having for supper. I told her yes and then she stated, 'I've never had chicken before.' I told Kris what she said and Kris said this was true, because you can't shove it down her throat, she refuses to eat it. She didn't eat any of mine either no matter how good it smelled.
