I think this must be Utah....

More pics off Kris's Camera...

I did finally get a carport ....It was not easy , I sure know I am not living in a city anymore..

It took a week just to get a windshield for my car and I have been dealing with getting a carport since the day Jr put my alternator in and I could move the car. I think that was the first week in June.  I ordered it one place and had to cancel it because it may have taken all summer there. Then I ordered it from Tri State and it still took a good while. But it does look very nice and I am thankful.
Fleta complained that she had to stay home all day Sat. and wait for it to come and they were a no show, and a no call. I called the company Monday morning and explained my sister's plight and I expected to be compensated for it, They knocked off  $77.00. So thank you to Fleta also. I did not give the $77.00 to Fleta. Unlike when she sold the goats and offered Pat the profit, I did not even offer it to Fleet, Heaven forbid she might have took it....

I went to OK last Sat. to put Missy and Benjamin on a plane to fly home and I went to Rhea's and spent 2 nights. Marvin gave me more than enough tin to under pin my trailer. Greg said he is doing it today. As soon as it it daylight I am going to go to town and get some self tapping screws. It is awful hot to be doing it but I will never turn down an offer so I will be right out there today cheering him on. LOL Greg is the same age Daddy was when he had me. I remember always thinking Daddy was old....Greg, not so much.

Kris and the kids will breeze back through here for a day or two tonight. Then they will be off again. I think they are still planning on getting home the first week in Aug. They have had quiet a trip and saw lots of sights. I guess we will go to the creek tomorrow. They all seem to enjoy that. Boy this is a trip all of her kids will remember forever. They are all old enough to remember this. Even Jake.

BTW Marvin also bought me stuff to throw in the pond to remove the green slime. Marvin, we used the entire bag in one pond. George has taken the tractor with the bush hog and backed the bush hog into the pond to help stir it up.  He has done this twice. We can tell it had broke up the green slime some but I am not sure it will ever all go away. Apparently it was much worse than I thought. Greg said you could throw a rock about as big as half a golf ball into it and it would not break through the slime.

Also, I think I have taken all of Clayton's hummers. I think they skipped straight over Fleta's feeder and came to mine. I am glad. BTW Fleta bought me the feeder and Greg welded me horse shoes on the porch to hang it.

Betty, I know Larry has really been doing a lot of wood working and I have been meaning to call you but never seem to think of it at a decent time. I think it would be nice to have a wooden box to put Clayton's ashes in When we bury them. I thought maybe Larry would make one? He may not want to but right now Clayton is in a heavy trash bag in a card board box on Fleta's closet shelf.

In case anyone does not know Fleta bought  Clayton  a plot right next to Richard. Betty wanted it there so Patsy, Richard, and  Clayton can all talk everyday. This may not be the place to post it but I am anyway because I am just that way....Thank you Winnie Jo for helping buy a plot for our Brother. We all love you!

Give Larry some about measurements and we will see if he will make a box. I think out of Ark cedar.

How did you haul that tin in the corvette?
