You use scalded Milk, water, yeast, sugar, salt and flour and a full day of messing....I started these early in the morning...made a goo...

let it set... about every hour I came back and added about another cup of flour, mixed it well....and let it set some more...

I think it took me 6 or 7 hours to get the dough to here (above Pix..) then I let it set some more....and punched down and let it rise some more....After I rolled them out I scraped up all of the flour, sugar, and Cinnamon that was on my dough board and added it over the top of the cinnamon rolls......Right before I put them in the oven...After they had risen again! I added 2 cups of store bought whipping cream (not whipped of course)...and as mama always said on the times she used canned milk of regular milk..."They would have been better if I had real good ole rich cow cream."

But they are big and fluffy and gooey....But so much trouble to make this way! And they are done right at 3:20 about the time we rolled in off the school bus!

Mama did not have time to spend 6 hours making cinnamon rolls. She had too many lazy kids to take care of.
mama tool all day making rolls
I will not argue...but I remember them at breakfast and I would say 30 min. at the most! lol
this is too much work for me. I know you all think I am a little lazy and it is true. I am Momma's girl. Remember how she was in the kitchen and did not want help until it was time to eat. The eating was my part.
Oh, I would like to add that I wish I could try one as they look gooey and yummy.
