Fleta..

years  ago in the 70's I used to make loaf bread. Before I figured how much easier rolls were to make and always have come out good...Here is a site that I found on forming the dough to make a tall loaf....which should be taller in the middle than on the ends...http://www.farmgirlfare.com/2011/01/how-to-shape-bread-dough-into-sandwich.html

The one thing I do remember is covering the bread with a slightly damp warm rag....If you are doing laundry...the dryer room is a perfect place for the bread to rise....moist warm air from the dryer..

I love adding sprouts to bread...One recipe sprouted Quiona...which is a high protein...she covered a hand full of quiona in a jar with water...added cheese cloth over the top...I would and have used plastic wrap ..set in a sunny window and 2 says had sprouts galore...add a handful to any bread recipe...it acts a lot like adding potatoes..I love the crunch and flavor,,,Try it,,,

I saw today Drew Peterson finally got 38 years for killing that first wife...The clincher they say was the divorce attorney for the 2nd wife...now dead also said drew told her he killed her..I would say he killed them both.

We have been cold and rainy here...rain Wednesday 42 deg. yesterday 50 and over cast...supposed to hit 80 today...I am ready...for sure..

Today I have a few things to do...yesterday I went to Good will dollar days...found some buys...then I went grocery shopping and bought about 125. of meat...freezer was finally all dry of meat...I was glad we got it all used and now starting over...I had the butcher freezer wrap it for me...It was great..

Today will even be better...I am ready for sun!

I will have to make a few more strawberries, but taking a break. When you make something you get tired of it.

The soil is clay base but very sandy too. It makes the best garden. Clay is a rich soil. Larry loves to garden so there you go. Laura wants to can this year. Laura's girls have experienced what lots of kids don't. I guess she needs to know how to can. I have 2 good canners. One Larry bought me new about 1973 and the other I bought when an old lady moved to town.
