Last week a friend of mine who belongs to the LDS church went to the LDS food bank and picked me up 25 pounds of dehydrated beans, apples, and potatoes. I have sacked up the potatoes and refried beans in gallon bags (12 each) and I am going to sack the apples today. The LDS food bank has the best food products. The refried beans are the same ones you get at Taco Bell, it is owned by the LDS so is Chick Fillet. The dehydrated potatoes taste just like a fresh cooked potato, and the apple chips are crunchy and really sweet. I will share these with the kids. I told Betty about the big packages and she said they have to have those large packages because they all have several wives and several kids. The main reason they have a food bank is because each LDS family are supposed to keep 7 years of food on hand at all times because they believe we will have another 7 year famine.

The Latter day saints are recuired to keep a 7 year suplly for their family encase of famine.
